can be legit.
No doubt, because it is a huge number and truth is that you could shop your insurance program day after day, and still never, ever, see that kind of savings.
How is that possible?
Below is true story of how one employer did just that -
We approached a Bay Area recycling company who we knew had some pain, because they had a Mod of 188%, and at the time were paying approximately $300,000 in premium.
We worked with this account and gave them some tools and programs, some of which are proprietary and unique to our offices. However, this particular employer went the “extra mile”, once they understood the concepts and strategies, and ran with it.
Net result. After a few short years of working together they were successful in reducing their Mod down to 56%, and although they had grown in size and payroll (which would have resulted in even higher premiums if they still had similar Mods), their premium dropped to $110,000 --- Almost a $200,000 savings in one year, which over three years would have been over $500,000!!!
